Why the cheat sheet does not work

A pattern chart teaches you forty names and no judgement. On a real chart the same shape appears twenty times a day and means something different depending on where it sits, what came before it, and whether anything was waiting underneath. The name is the least useful part.

What actually transfers is having seen the shape hundreds of times, in context, with feedback. That is a volume problem, and volume is what a game is good at.

How the game does it

• No labels. The candles come up unlabelled and you say what the shape is telling you. Naming it is optional; reading it is the point.
• Failures included. The same pattern is shown in the setups where it works and the setups where it does not, because a pattern you only ever see working is a pattern you will over-trust.
• Immediate scoring. You find out on the same screen, not three days later in a journal.
• Context first. Later levels put the pattern inside a level, a sweep or an imbalance, which is where it either earns its reputation or loses it.

What you meet first

The opening region is deliberately small: reading one candlestick, then support and resistance, then volatility, momentum and mean reversion. Five reads. The boss of that region is not a pattern at all, it is emotional discipline, because the most common way a beginner loses money is not misreading a candle.
